TAGLINE OF FILM: “Once you’re in, there’s no escaping”

PRODUCTION NAME: Black Mist Productions

MEDIUM: Audio-Visual

DURATION OF PRODUCT: 5 minutes

TARGET AUDIENCE: Our target audience is boys and girls aged 12+ who are into and like watching gothic horror films - both modern and old-fashioned.

SYNOPSIS OF FILM: The plot of our film revolves around a teenage girl who falls into a never ending nightmare, trapped with a supernatural being (vampire-llke beast). Our film ends with this girl seen being attacked by this being and supposedly made unconscious. But when she wakes up she is completely alone and isolated in the very same place she has been all along but her surrounding looks completely dull. It’s after this we find out that she is actually still stuck in her nightmare and in real life she is physically dead – the cause, strangulation. The same way her younger brother died exactly a year ago.
MAIN CHARACTERS:  - Hannah:  teenager, the films centres around her,
victim
- Villain:    a vampire, tries to capture Hannah

KEY SCENES:
KEY SCENE 1: A medium long shot of the kitchen and Hannah sitting at the table in the kitchen where she is doing her work on the laptop. The shot dissolves into a 2nd shot where she tired. This then dissolves into the 3rd shot where she is now asleep still at the table. The camera moves into an extreme close up of Hannah waking up (specifically, a shot of her eye). The next shot is a medium shot of Hannah looking around the room as the atmosphere is suddenly tense and everything looks dull.

KEY SCENCE 2: There is a long shot of an open door and the room completely pitch black. Hannah creeps past it and as soon as she is out of the shot, a pair of red, luminous eyes shows in the dark at head level.

KEY SCENE 3: A tracking shot at ground level shows a woman walking on grass for a short moment until she stops. The camera pans up to an over the shoulder shot at a high angle when the woman is kneeling down. She slowly gets up and walks away and that is when a gravestone is revealed in Hannah’s name from a medium close up. From then the shot fades out to black.

KEY SCENE 4: After Hannah finds the card which reads inside, “may Hannah rest in peace”, she frantically cries and starts screaming. The shot transitions into a very long shot of her inside her kitchen crying and screaming. The camera then slowly pans down to the floor at a high angle with a close up of her locket on the floor. The camera zooms in then fades to black.
